Just in front of the gite

This carved window surround was covered in cement before we renovated the gite

An old feeding trough that was covered in rubble

This building was a ruin before we rescued it, now its our "barbecue palace"

The wood structure in the background is made with slats of oak that were retrieved from the gite renovations, the birds loved flying in and out of it but it had to be taken down eventually - hopefully Mark will make another one soon.

We love sitting on this bench with a cup of coffee!

A sculptural piece incorporating found metal.

We bought the bits of metal on the arch from a local brocante

Roses and poppies

Another rose - there are in the region of 60 in our gardens, many from David Austin

Our newly rebuilt indoor/outdoor dining room aka "barbeque palace"!

Self-seeded poppies

A very green scene!

The front of the gite

The violas in the gravel self-seeded from the winter window boxes
